The Florida Counseling Association invites you to become a member!
We want you to join FCA because it works...for you and for our profession. FCA was organized in 1949 when a few Florida counselors decided to form a group which could help advance counseling concerns in this state.
FCA represents the relevant issues of every practicing counselor in Florida. Through our newsletter, our legislative consultant, our specialty divisions, and our annual two day conference which attracts approximately 300 counselors, we get involved! Our over 500 members speak with a strong voice. With members like you, we will become even more potent! Our organization is one of the most progressive and innovative state branches of the over 60,000 member American Counseling Association headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia.

Membership Year - Membership in FCA is prerequisite for membership in any of the FCA divisions and membership in at least one division is required. FCA operates on an anniversary renewal date basis. You can join at any time during the year and be in good standing for 12 full months. Dues will become due again 12 months from the month of initial affiliation.
Renewal Notices - Each month renewal notices are sent to members whose dues are coming due. If after 60 days members have not returned their renewal notice with proper remittance, that member is placed in an inactive status and is removed from the active mailing list until dues are received and the membership is reactivated.
Membership Reactivation - If you neglect to renew within the 60 days from your renewal month, you are placed in an inactive file. When you send in your dues for both FCA and at least one of its divisions, you will be issued a new renewal date which will be 12 months from the time your reactivation is received.
